BAYAMBANG, PANGASINAN — The dream of the Quiambao family headed by Bayambang Municipal Mayor, Dr. Cezar T. Quiambao, to establish a 100% privately owned world-class healthcare facility in the region will soon become a reality, after the groundbreaking ceremony for the Julius K. Quiambao Medical and Wellness Center on February 16, 2021.
The JKQ Medical and Wellness Center will be built in Brgy. Ligue, this municipality, and it will be a Medical City-managed hospital.
As can be gleaned from its name, the facility is dedicated to the loving memory of Mayor Quiambao’s first-born son, Julius, who lived a life full of caring and concern for his fellow human beings. Were he present today, he would have been the one spearheading this project, which is aimed at serving the pressing healthcare needs not just of Bayambangueños but the rest of the people of Pangasinan and Northern Luzon.
With the establishment of the JKQ Medical and Wellness Center, the under-served people of Bayambang and beyond will now have specialist medical care made available to them without travelling far away from home.
